The academy on stage!

2020 will mark the 7th edition of the Festival. Once again, the best young artists of the Academy and their teachers coming from around the world will offer a dozen concerts in the shade of century-old trees in the park of the Conservatoire and in various prestigious locations in Lyon and its metropolis.

For the trainees of the Academy the concerts are the way to put into practice the advice they received during the lessons. It also gives the teachers numerous opportunities for moments of exchange and conviviality around the sharing of great works of the piano, strings, singing and chamber music repertoires.

Academy Concerts

Open to everybody and completely free, the festival concerts of the academy promote eclecticism in the works and the variety of the musical atmospheres, in a relaxed and friendly climate where any pretension is definitively not welcome.

Thus freed from the usual decorum of classical concerts, the contact between young artists, their masters and the audience, which is more and more loyal to our annual meeting, becomes easy, often enthusiastic, with beautiful moments of emotion and shared joy.
